ABOUT ANGEL SMILE DENTAL GROUP

Dr. Alejandra Taveras graduated from the prestigious UTECI in 1992 and completed advanced training at UCLA in 2005. She has continued her training as recently as 2012 and also has extensive experience in orthodontics and implantology, having obtained Progressive Orthodontic Training in 2012, and her Preceptorship in Dental Implantology from 2007-2008.

Dr. Taveras is a member of the Implant Prosthetic division of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the California Dental Association, and the Chamber of Commerce Canoga Park.

Dr. Taveras practices general & cosmetic dentistry, as well as orthodontics. She loves to work with children and does her best to make it fun for them so they always want to come back! She is well educated in many different fields of dentistry such as implant dentistry, prosthetics, and pediatrics. She can turn any smile into an Angel Smile!

In her free time, Dr. Taveras enjoys dancing, cooking and spending time with her family.

mejiaDr. Manuel Mejia DDS graduated from UCE in 1990 and has been practicing dentistry for over 24 years.

Not only an experienced dentist, Dr. Mejia was also a professor. He has taught and lectured extensively and has continued to expand his education, having received advanced training at UCLA in 2007, University of Southern California, and the University of Oklahoma.

His specialties include root canals and aesthetic makeovers. If having the perfect smile is what you wish for, then he is the doctor for you.

A loving, caring dentist, Dr. Mejia is interested in a healthy community, starting with one�s dental health which leads to overall well-being. Dr. Mejia enjoys reading, dancing and swimming in his free time when he is not seeing patients.
