This is a FREE seminar being put on by the Employment Development Dept. (EDD) and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The seminar will cover the basic payroll tax requirements for business owners for the EDD and IRS. You will learn payroll reporting forms, obligations, and payment requirements for the both the IRS and EDD. You will also learn about independent contractors and how to distinguish between a contractor and an employee.

Very spectator friendly mostly flat, two loop Full marathon Boston Qualifier course.   Half Marathon, 5k and 10k distances available too.  Start / Finish will be at beautiful Ventura Ocean front boardwalk adjacent to Surfers Point beach.  

Runners will enjoy Ventura Ocean front boardwalk, Historical Old Rincon HWY with incredible views that make every step worth the effort along the way.  100% ocean view course

All runners receive over $45 worth of race day swag. 

Welcome to the 4th  annual Harvest half marathon 5k 10k. 
All flat two loop course along the Famous bike path.   Start / Finish location Woodley park-1 at  6350 Woodley Ave,  Van Nuys CA 91406

The race will start at Rancho Simi Park and run along the Arroyo bike path   . Which is lined with beautiful trees for shade and makes a wonderful environment.  The bike path runs through the center of Simi Valley and along the Arroyo Creek. This is still home to ducks and herons, (not cranes), who are soaking up the sun while playing in the gently flowing spring /summer time  water.  There will be Aid stations every 1.5 miles.

Race Start times: Half Marathon- 700, 10k-7:815, 5k - 7:30

Runners will enjoy this ocean front course that winds along the Ventura Ocean boardwalk. And Ventura state beach park.  100% ocean front views along the entire route.  Aid stations every 1.5 miles

Weekend warriors / Beginners / walkers: 
Yes, This is a very walker friendly course! This course is all flat, there are plenty of aid stations, and will be loads of fun! A generous 4:00 hour time limit for the half marathon, allowing participants to take their time and enjoy the scenery. All levels of fitness are welcome at our events.

Middle of the pack runners:
This course  lots of flat ocean front miles to keep you cool and a  ready to work on that PR.

 Elite and Advanced runners: 
This all flat course along the Ocean Front, is a great way to test your Summer time speed as you work on that mid year PR.
