Pickleball is quickly exploding in popularity all over the country, but maybe too fast for its own good. Why? Because not everyone is in the proper condition to begin playing, and many enthusiasts are quickly getting hurt as a result.
In this first of a short workshop series, Q4 Active’s Patricia Soley provides an overview of the very popular sport, breaks it down into its most common movements performed, and suggests a bundle of effective exercises and activities to improve your pickleball conditioning level, while at the same time helping you to reduce your risk of injury. Workshop objectives include:
1. Identify and review what actions are used in the sport.
2. Identify muscle groups used
3. Provide activities/exercises to strengthen and train those areas
4. Review proper warm up and cool down
REGISTRATION: Tickets are $35 per person ($25 for Q4 Active Members). To reserve a space, please visit https://www.q4-active.com/events. Q4 Active members must login to their Q4 Active account to see their price.
