MASTER CLASS IN SONG INTERPRETATION -- Metropolitan Opera Soprano CAROLYN VAL-SCHMIDT playfully interacts with audience when showing singers how to bring a song or aria alive by exploring the character's situation and emotions, the musical elements (such as the melody and accompaniment) and how to be more comfortable with the accompanist. In this unique experience the audience will be invited to try out aspects of dramatic interpretation and to joyfully respond as each singer courageously delves into different ways of presenting each selection!. This is always a fascinating event for everyone involved!
