How will this cash grant directly benefit the students at your school? |
SOCES lost all of its Title 1 funding. This money will help us to help students that need extra services that were cut due to our loss of funds. |
What are the biggest challenges in running your school, and how will you overcome them? |
We are not a neighborhood school, but we do have 20% of our students that live within the general area of the school. We have an API of 892 and we have students that still score in below basic and basic levels. This grant would allow us to help these students achieve proficiency. |
