| How will this cash grant directly benefit the students at your school? |
After discussing with our principal, it is clear we need to be putting more funds towards technology at Calvert. We would love to see grant funds used to get a SmartBoard in the upper classrooms first, and then every classroom. We believe this will help teachers prepare our students to use technology to access learning. In addition, we can have students very comfortable with technology to prepare them to take assessments online in two years. (Common Core State Assessment). |
| What are the biggest challenges in running your school, and how will you overcome them? |
The biggest challenge is keeping up with technology and making it accessible to all of our students. |
