Thanksgiving Eve is a critical day for the blood banks and so it
San Fernando Valley Veterans day parade. This is the only Veterans day parade in Los Angeles and an important way to show appreciation for the men and women who have sacrificed to keep us safe and preserve our freedoms.
The Parade will begin at the corner of Laurel Canyon Blvd. and San Fernando Mission Blvd., proceed down Laurel Canyon and culminate at the Richie Valens Recreation Center and Park at the corner of Laurel Canyon and Paxton St.
The Woodland Hills Woman’s Club will be holding Bunco Night on Saturday, November 8th at 7:00PM. This fundraising event will be held at St. Bernardine of Siena Catholic Church which is located at 24410 Calvert St (at Valley Circle) in Woodland Hills. Tickets are $15 per person and are available by contacting Betty Paravado at 818.716.6299.
The Woodland Hills Woman’s Club serves many worthy causes such as the Pacific Lodge and the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Seminars (HOBY). Come have fun while supporting your local community.
